Finding us in Rovinj
Rovinj has become easily accessible in recent years and there are many ways of
getting there. Croatia has eight major airports. The nearest ones to Rovinj are
Pula (40 km away) and Rijeka (145 km away). Ryanair fly from Stansted and Dublin to Pula.
In addition, Easyjet and Thomsonfly have flights to Rijeka or Pula
during peak season. Airlines are constantly changing their schedules so
it is worth checking what is available.
Rovinj is
very close to Italy, and Ryanair fly to
Trieste (150 km) several times a week. Trieste is only about one and a half
hour's drive away and there is a daily coach service to Rovinj. Many people like to combine a holiday in Rovinj with a few
days in Venice, which is only 270 km away. There is a daily coach service from
Venice to Rovinj and during the peak season you can arrive in Rovinj by catamaran from Venice.
If you prefer to make your own
way to Rovinj, regular buses run from other Croatian towns and from Italy and
Slovenia. If you come by car, please note that there is no parking in the centre
of the Old Town where you will be staying. There are places to park within a
five-minute walk of the centre and our agent, Sanja, will show you
where.
The apartments are within easy reach of the main car
park by the sea and from the bus station (5 minute walk).
We
will ask you to phone our agent, Sanja, about an hour before you arrive
to arrange a meeting place. Sanja will take you to the apartment, collect your security deposit
and arrange your registration in the town.
